Lynda Owen is an established and respected figure in the world of professional floristry. For forty years she has been at the forefront of floristry, pushing the boundaries, leading the drive for higher standards and increasing the awareness of consumers to the great joys of floral design.
Lynda’s award winning florist shop in the shadow of Worcester Cathedral has recently been sold to enable her to concentrate on other areas of her business. Work takes Lynda around the country and world and this shift of emphasis means there is more time for to devote to her other loves, teaching, demonstrating, judging and writing.
Lynda is the author of two books. Wedding Floristry and The Contemporary Flower Arranger, and has had many articles published on flowers and floristry. She is an authority on the organisation and management of a flower shop.
Lynda is a European Floristry judge and has judged floristry competitions throughout Great Britain and Ireland also the World Cup of Floristry, Eurofleurs and the Russian National Floristry Competition.
